A few things about taking our test:

1. Answer completely honest. If you are asked how you play a hand in a certain situation you should answer honestly even if you think your answer is not correct. The purpose of this test is to identify your weak areas and advise you on how to strengthen them. If you don't answer honestly then you will not get a "true" answer. This is typically true when it comes to tilting. Some players often lose their temper and react irrationally, however, they are embarrassed by their actions and don't like to admit it. If you were to give a false answer you would not return the proper evaluation and miss out on very important improvement tips.

2. You should continue to improve your game by consistently testing yourself. As long as you plan on playing poker you should always be willing to improve yourself by reading books (multiple times), magazines, watching videos, and measuring your current level of play by using this test. We recommend at least once a month in order to get a "true" gauge of your improvement. One of the most common traits of poker pros is they are willing to identify there current strengths in perspective to their goals and which areas they need to work on. I personally have been amazed at times when I have read a book then practiced the techniques with some success. However, when I read a book a second time it is amazing how much more I learn from the second reading.

3. Consider the results. I cannot begin to tell you how many poker players have natural talent and ability but will never be great because of their ego. Many times players are not easily willing to accept there weaknesses or the level of weakness. If you are naive enough to believe your game does not have room for improvement, then your game will never improve. Poker is such a situational game and it is important that you recognize your style in order to adjust your strategy to each situation.

If you are serious about taking your game to the next level then analyzing your play is an absolute necessity. Click here if you are ready to take that next step.
